Physical Education

Welcome to the BES Physical Education Page!
Elementary physical education (PE) classes offer young students the opportunity to engage in various physical activities and develop their overall physical fitness. These classes provide a foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle by introducing students to different sports, games, and exercises. Through fun and interactive lessons, students learn fundamental movement skills, such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching, while also developing coordination, balance, and spatial awareness. PE classes promote the importance of regular exercise, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play, instilling valuable values and habits that contribute to their physical and mental well-being. We also host a variety of events, including: a visit from the Pflugerville Fire Dept for Fire Safety Week, Parent PE days, Field Day, guest teachers, and more! Please continue reading for important links and information about our PE Program and how you can contribute towards your students(s) success!
